“Congragulations Obama you made history, now lets see if you can write it” -Friend.

Filed under: Uncategorized, Life — Chris @ 12:32 am

Tonight was one of the most important days in the United States since, I can remember. We have the worst debt in U.S. history; our nation is as divided as I can remember. Not only this, we today would either elect a women V.P. or an African American President. This was also my first election where I could exercise my right to vote. This was the day we, the United States elected the next leader of the free world.
We elected Senator Obama. Yes, I said we. Even though I did not cast my vote for the senator, we as a nation did. I wanted McCain to win. I did not want McCain to win on race, I wanted him to win because I believed he was the most qualified and experienced to lead the U.S. I also stood with McCain on many of his ideas for this country. I would have to say I am a very strong conservative, but tonight we did not win the race. Therefore, I will follow what McCain said; I will support Obama to straighten the ship. Maybe not on every issue, but we can both agree on one thing, we love the United State.
I have yet one more thing to say. I read this from a friend, and I believe it has a grave meaning. Whether you are a supporter of Democrats or Republicans, tonight made history. I am a strong Republican, in every way, shape, and form. But, I will have to say one final thing, “Congratulations Obama, you made history, now let’s see if you can write it.”

Auburn Vs. UL-M

Filed under: Uncategorized — Chris @ 1:33 pm

So, we hosted ULM this weekend. It was a pretty awesome day! I was in the 1st row of Tiger Walk. My seats were pretty awesome, the only bad thing was I had no one to talk to. haha. I was not very impressed with our performance this weekend. I had high expectations and they were crushed. We did not play like the number 10 team in the country.

Anywho, everyone back at home I miss you all greatly! I’ll be seeing everyone soon.

It is never going to be the same. An Era in Green Bay is over. Brett Favre will NEVER throw a football for the Green Bay Packers ever again. The only quarterback I can ever remember playing for the Pack. I remember the first game me and Brett met. It was a cold January night, I was laying in my bed watching Favre win his first and only super bowl. Actually, this is the first football that I ever remember watching, and who was the quarterback, Brett Favre. The man played football like a 18 year old kid trying to win state. Hand down the greatest player to ever play his position. He holds almost every NFL record at QB, he is the ONLY NFL football player to win 3 MVP titles; He won those MVP title in a row might I add. Brett Thanks for the memories in the Bay area! What to do now? Well, I am still a HUGE Brett Favre fan! He might be in a new city, on a new team, in a new locker room, but the fact is he is still the same guy that was in Green Bay! Go number 4!!!!!!

Same Restrictions.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Chris @ 1:19 am

If you know nothing about Nascar, then you are about to receive a lesson. In Nascar there are four engines in play: Dodge, Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota. Toyota is running its second full season landing a enormous deal with Gibbs Racing. Toyota has been overpowering this year, mainly Gibbs Racing and the number 18 (Kyle Busch). In dominating(a understatement) the Nascar circuit, Toyota was penalized for doing an outstanding job. The Toyota team has won 6 of 13 in the Craftsmen Truck Series, 8 of 19 Sprint Cup races and 14 of 21 races in the Nationwide Series, at one point winning 8 in a row. How have they done this you may ask, they have achieved this by following every engine restriction to the T put in place by Nascar. The same rules that were in place for every engine manufacturer. However, since Toyota has been having a “dream” season, and out working every other team, Nascar seems to think they need to put more restrictions in place. The twist; These new restrictions are only for Toyota. Before I down Nascar lets take a look back a couple of years ago when a man named Kevin Harvick owned the Nascar Series winning, at that time, a record 14 races in one season. Now Nascar did not punish the Chevrolet engine for their “dream season”. Anyways, back to July 27, 2008 when Toyota, their new engine restrictions, and Kyle Busch, won their record setting 15th race over 3 Nascar Series. How did he do so, in dominating fashion. Kyle lead 197 of 200 laps. Motors or drivers? I believe they are dominating the Nascar Series by their talent and experience. In closing, Chevrolet, Dodge, as well as ford I have but one simple message for each of you,QUIT crying about losing and start outworking Toyota. That is if you want to compete in Nascar.

Appalachian WHO?

Filed under: Uncategorized — Chris @ 3:19 pm

Thats right, Appalachian State. Appalachian State put themselves on the map moments ago when the upset #5 Michigan in Ann Arbor. This is the first time ever, a team from the previously known 1-AA has defeated a team in the AP top 25. The drama started when Michigan had the ball 4th and 6 on the ASU 26. Michigan had a one point lead 32-31. Michigan’s field goal attempt was blocked. State drove down to the five of Michigan, and kicked eventually the winning field goal on 1st and goal. Michigan then drove the ball down to the App. State 20 yard line to attempt the winning field goal. App. State blocked the attempt to become the nations biggest upset in college football history.
