“I just had to show yall this. Some necked up Bammer on the LSU board was talking about our offense and our dear friend Proud Tiger put him in his place and even LSU fans were saying….. BURN! Here it is:

It’s like taking a four wheel drive and trying to drive it like a race car. It wasn’t designed to do that. The personnel da barn has right now isn’t design to run franklin’s offense.

HERE IS PROUD’S RESPONSE.

Thanks for your expert analysis. Did you get that straight from Nicky. You better worry about pigs rather than tigers. Better yet, start worrying about seven in a row.”

The National Media Vs. The Local Media, as well as my two cents…

Saturday September, 13th:
Auburn Wins 3-2 against Mississippi State. The offense shot itself in the foot, the defense played National Title worthy football. Many people criticized the Auburn offense after the game on Sat. I took a different angle. We made long plays, and the offense was moving. However, due to penalties and turnovers it never really turned into much. Our offense is fine people, and the defense is looking for a championship.

I figured after the nationally televised 3-2 victory Saturday night, that the media, especially the national media, would look down upon our victory. But, to my surprise they weren’t. Take a look:
” If you’re a cynic, a pessimist, shortsighted — you know, a media type — then you wonder about how high to rank teams such as Georgia, Auburn, Wisconsin and Oregon. All four of them won on the road by a combined total of 17 points. But those kinds of victories are the foundation on which championship seasons are built. Each team knew how to dig out a tough victory in uncomfortable surroundings.”
“Auburn scored three points Saturday. And won.” Those are just a few quotes I picked up on of many reviews of the game. They think we are playing championship football, that we find a way to win. I’d have to agree. However, the local paper around the Auburn campus is downing our offense, and says if we don’t see an improvement we are done. Surprised! I am! Anywho, whether you believe the local, or national newspaper just remember….War Eagle!
